Wow, I remember when processors where at 130nm, video cards at 180nm, and nand flash up around 250-300 nm.

Its interesting that now the system has now completely flipped with processors at 45, GPU at 40, and nand flash at 34.

Is competition more important than Moore's law?

If Micron is on the nanometer scale shouldn't they change they're name to "Nanon"?

We should see Intel SSDs with the chip soon (Intel and Micron announced the chip ~one month ago http://www.intel.com/pressroom/archive/releases/20080529comp.htm )

ps:the 84mm² is for the 2GB chip
