AMD should get their own hybrid power working. We need a new PowerPlay that can do the same so my damn HD4870 will stop heating up my room. Should be possible with 790GX and newer IGP chipset, given the way they already work.

Over the internet there isn't all that much you can know about head set/ speakers. However if you go to a well respected music store in your area you can ask for some of their cheaper stuff. Make sure it's a good music store though, see if you can check into that... i don't know if you play music or know people in your area that do but it's essential that it's not a cheap (curs word curs word) music store because they exist and I hate them... anyway, they probably won't have something with a mic attached but from your post that doesn't seem to be something needed.

Can someone spring ~$40 and get Geoff a decent mic or something? Guy sounds like he's stuck in a twilight zone of EQ settings... it's all over the place.

- Battlestar ... can't wait for the show Caprica to come out in April. Looks good. And Stargate Universe is coming too in Fall.

- IE8 for some reason makes my folders open in new windows. Still working on that odd bug. Else it's fine.
- Headphones. Seriously, people are suggesting $100 earphones. Go with a really good $20 pair, don't pay $100+ for frak'n earphones. Unless you're looking for professional audio equipt.
