Why don't Lenovo make a proper Thinkpad netbook? Keep keyboard + trackpoint as is.. everything else can be compromised. And it would be really nice if they didn't go with a wide + glossy screen like everyone else.

I wonder if I could use that to switch the 'Fn' and 'Ctrl' keys on my work thinkpad. Control should always, always be on the corner. Anyone who does otherwise should be shot in the face.

You know, if the keyboard appears to the system as a PS/2 device (and not USB) you can remap the scancodes in the registry, no separate program or scripting required.

nice article, geoff.
I did the same thing with my HP's context button (in between alt and ctrl on the right side of the space bar) with autohotkey, switched it to delete so I could do shift+del easier. Who needs that context key anyways? |

I never got why there was so much fuss about the defferent place of the right shift key. I always use the left shift key though.

KeyTweak has "Teach Mode": press one key, then second, done. I use it for forever for making right Ctrl function as Del on notebooks that don't have Del close enough.
