No sweet bonus of a 80%-90% performance gain like with the AMD hot-fix? What's the secret ingredient?

These drivers do not work with my 8800gs. It installed fine but Farcry 2 is in windowed mode and nothing on the screen except black. Reverting back to old drivers that actially worked with farcry 2.

NVidia's beta releases have always been the same quality as their WHQL drivers, so I don't see a point for being afraid of them. If anything, it's their way to give frequent updates while AMD prefers running on a systematic schedule (I'm fine with both).

There are some issues with these drivers and Lord of the Rings - Online.

DX10 Dynamic Shadows cause corruption and flickering. You have to disable Dynamic shadows for it to stop.

What i have noticed on the following site is that it looks like DX10 performance is actually better than DX9 performance.
