Now, if we could just mix the Fusion with some Synergy, we'll really be able to make tons of noise without ever really saying anything at all.

Seems as if any physical implementation of the Fusion initiative is going to be thermally-limited to low-end consumer stuff until AMD ( er, IBM) can come up with an efficient next-gen silicon process. The expected power-consumption of the first-gen AMD 45nm processors precludes a performance-combo CPU/GPU in a single package with conventional cooling. Intel continues to be at least a year ahead in the performance-per watt-stakes. What a difference the last three years have made to the relative positions of the two companies with regard to this particular performance-measure !

Show of hands of everyone who actually knew that AMD's old tagline was "Smarter Choice"?

It would be funny if it was the future was delayed one stepping at a time.

Like most ad campaigns, information is painfully vague.

Intentional that in the tagline fusion isn't capitalized but everywhere else it is? Is it even TM'd by AMD?

Even in that print ad the consistency isn't clear.
