- OMG It's not Infinity Ward
- Eww it's not Modern

Yes, it's been said about 6 million times, play the game first before giving a review. Most people who haven't played a CoD game before CoD4 just don't get it.

Treyarch have come to make this game look promising, they've cleaned up their act and worked on this title MUCH longer than they did CoD3. If you want modern go play Bad Company or wait for IW another year from now. If you think it has been done before please name one game that's done U.S. vs Japan in WWII.

It's sad that IW soldout their PC core to the 360 fanbase, and now the majority of people who haven't even played a Infinity Ward title before CoD4 will control the fate of the series by majority of whining. Trust me when I tell you that if they're ever pushed to go to future warfare, the game will suck, 99% of future warfare titles end up being a failure.

<Pablo Francisco doing Don LaFontaine Movie Trailer Voice-over> Adventure, Excitement, Mystery. WW2 is back in the same crap you've seen over...and over...and over again. Handle weapons you've used a million times before on battlefields you know better than your backyard.
Experience what critics are calling the WW2 shooter of the year with the same cookie cutter AI you've seen in games a thousand times before.

Coming this November to unsuspecting audiences everywhere.

I'd love to see a WWI shooter. Mustard gas and trench warfare would rock.

Read the article carefully: It's Treyarch, not the real CoD team. Don't get excited, unless you thought CoD 3 was a good game...

WWII = done to death and lame now. One of the reasons I think CoD 4 was such a big hit (besides great gameplay and graphics and story) was that it was something new. It took place in a time that us gamers typically don't play much, now. It was something different and refreshing.
