Too bad IE8 doesn't pile on stability. IE7 has to be the most unstable program I've ever used.

Step #1: Install Firefox 3.
Step #2: Install Adblock Plus. Step #3: Install NoScript. Step #4: Profit! This is truly the safest way to browse. The only problem is enabling scripts on websites you do trust, and it can get tedious. |

OK, why should any web content ever be in a position to observe your browsing history? Security holes?
Edit: the explanation in the screenshot makes more sense- it's to prevent ad servers etc collecting and sharing visit data. It apparently has nothing to do with the browsing history your web browser itself keeps track of. |

Better be able to turn this crap off, we already have too many people at work looking at crap all day, pr0n included, at least IT doesn't do the dirty work, we just give the reports to HR.
