Since you guys are a at least somewhat critical crowd and it's about tech newness let me ask you about something I thought up to see what you think of it:
Edge mounted motherboard powerconnectors, like the floppy and sata and such nowadays you angle it 90 degrees and put it on the edge, that way you can route that fat powercable a bit out of the way.
What you think? Was it tried already?

Now that this is no longer "Live" it might be nice to change the title and put up a synopsis at the front of the article. As it keeps showing up on the main page looking like breaking news.

First a hope to spread that lemon named atom all over and have it uselessly clog the internet and make your house susceptible to attacks by scriptkidies everywhere, then admitting you require a freaking million transistors to do some power-management... I'd describe that as embarrassing

So given that thing is 2 years old, did the battery last the entire time or did he have to suspend/hibernate in between. ;)
