Oh where oh where is Poulsbo...the low power Chipset that will make the Atom a standout product??
The Tom's review, hate to say it, is pretty much spot-on. Atom with an old power-hungry chipset ain't much. Well, for Intel it's a lot cheaper to produce than anything AMD makes processor-wise. But the total package ain't there. |

They should be using new Athlon 64 2000+ which is faster and more energy efficient that Intel Atom

If they keep that price I am sure that it will sell very well. Price is the problem I see with these netbooks, as I can get a full laptop for $500.

We'll see how well they keep the pricing at the rumoured $299. Like the MSI Wind, I suspect they will have problems meeting their target.
