MSI has got them beat pretty bad right now... The things I wanted were more storage and bluetooth, and MSI answered the call. I didn't care about price to much but for $550 that works for me. I am taking out that 80gb hdd and putting in a 320gb. That way I can have a mobile media book on the go to work with the psp & iPhone. To many people say you could have gotten a regular laptop blah blah, but who wants to carry around a 5 - 8 pound tank?

I own the 701 and have been looking for a serious upgrade mainly for the screen bump. I think ASUS might lose me for my upgrade as these things are getting more expensive and I think are loosing focus. The $399 MSI Wind is what the 900 and 901 series should be priced at not at $550 and up.

Are worries that Atom CPUs could turn out to be slower than the Celerons in current Eee PCs (owing to the lack of "out of order execution") unfounded, then?
