I agree, and am only complaining as I want a decently fast and silent Mini-Itx solution with PCIe.

I don't understand the "No PCI Express" limitation, even if mini-ITX adoption is your goal. There's no reason you couldn't build a mini-ITX board with a single PCI-E slot on it.

I like small form foactors for PCs when they are appropriate to the intended use. But I like options too. A mATX size at least to allow for some expansion would be nice to see. Perhaps some board makers will go renegade or we'll see that for future atoms.

I love Mini-ITX but I wish they would include a single 16x PCIe on these Atom mobo's. Hopefully this kind of publicity will envigorate the form factor and someone will produce an x16 Atom based mobo.

Even though VIA introduced Mini-ITX, thanks to Intel we will start seeing a broader range of Mini-ITX cases.
