Simple XBOX will go alot more pricier
Dont compare the price to PS3 since it is sold at a loss of SONY just to spread Blu-ray desperately.
80+% of BD players in the market was attributed to PS3

People that say bluray drives are expensive, a Lite-On bluray drive can be bought for $129.99 on newegg. By the time 360 bluray comes out, bluray will be cheaper anyway.

I bought the 360 instead of a PS3 because i felt the exclusive games were better (other than GT5 and MGS there is no reason to buy a PS3)

I bought the 360 when it first came out... Then they released the black 360 which i bought because they added HDMI 1080p support which i wanted from the begining.

now they're coming out with another version with BR which i also wanted from the begining? This is B.S. i feel riped off.

The only way this works for MS is to subsidize the Blu-Ray drive and make the Xbox360 cheaper then the PS3. Otherwise, this is pointless.

I think MS made a mistake using a DVD drive on the 360. The space constraint is going to affect them more and more as time goes by. Many game developers have already complained about it.

They should not only use a Blu-ray drive but make games for it.

Either way this would only apply to movies, as the games themselves will be released in DVD.

Forget BR-ROM, I want to know when they give the GPU it's die-shrink, and address the failures. The last number that I've hear is 16% failure (which, in of itself is meaningless. 16% in their first month, year, 3 years under warranty, or ever?).

With some of the new games that are getting released, the live arcade games (Carcazonne & Catan FTW), and the price cuts, the 360 is really looking tempting. But those design faults are really holding me back.

BD will be very expensive, but is necessary addon big huge games like gta 4 and addons plus movies in HD.
the xbox will be more expensive then the ps3 , for sure.
better buy a ps3 now then wait...

So I'll NOT be able to buy this as an external reader for $50, and it'll be inside the console. The Force unleashed was about the only reason I had to get a 360, maybe this helps.
