How can this compete with the bribes, err, marketing money? Because that's what Centrino is all about. The hardware never mattered.

How hard can it be to beat Intel at this. Their onboard GPU's have been a shining beacon to all things that suck.

Ahh yes, another company claims to "whoop ass" on Intel.
Pfft. History is littered with dead bodies of Intel Whoop ass'ers. When rhetoric like this comes out, it's the first sign of fear of the wrath of Intel. While NVidia had great technology and products, they pale in comparison to Intel's. NVidia is gonna have to enlist the government of Taiwan and China to take on Intel in the long run. |

The only thing here that is compelling is HD video (I'm assuming Blu-Ray) decode, something all Intel IGP's are missing.
Then again, how many lappies are coming with a built-in BRD optical drives? This might smack of competition but only at the low end. |

Who will use hybrid SLI in a notebook? Wouldn't you also need the external PCI-E video solution as well? Or are they even considering some OEMs that will have both the onboard and another GPU from nvidia on the same socket (negating the benefits of a small platform at low power consumption)?
