Looks to kill AMD in the server arena.... I wonder when AMD will give a show of fequencies on the Shanghai? Unless I missed it somewhere... Hope AMD's chip comes out first and does well...They will need it.

I wonder how many will pair a Nehalem with a 32 bit system. You'd be limiting yourself to 3gb (or 1gb per channel).

AMD used to show off 3.0Ghz Barcelona desktops running on air before the launch. Look how things turned out for them. I'll wait till intel ships, but still, this thing will crush Shanghai.

Intel isn't talking about launch frequencies at the moment, but we expect to see Bloomfield ship at up-to 3.6GHz in Q4 2008.
