All the people that say that the Wii is the 'winner' are kidding themselves. Most people with a Wii that I know no longer touch it. The novelty wore off, and the fact that I STILL can't goto the store and buy one over 2 years in is a testament to how little Nintendo cares. If you can't ramp up production in TWO YEARS you're either really stupid, or doing it on purpose and I don't think the big N is stupid.

The winner so far this gen with people that actually spend money on games is MS and the 360. Theres a reason the game attach rate on the 360 is nearly double that of the other 2 systems. There are no 'gamer' games out on Wii. Its all casual mini-game BS. I feel like Nintendo has alienated me to the point I no longer WANT their system. Smash Brothers, Metroid, Mario and Zelda. Big surprise that these are the only actually good games huh?

*shrug* Maybe Microsoft will adopt a proprietary optical disc format for its next system. It wouldn't be unprecedented. Both the Dreamcast and the Gamecube had their own special formats (they weren't DVDs).

Bluray should only be implemented in the next xbox, not the 360.
Having to buy a bluray add on drive will suck balls

Microsoft is in quite a debacle and to be honest I don't believe Blu Ray will change anything.

what MS has to do is drop the Xbox's price again to reflect it's lack of blu Ray, the less spendy cpu they equipped it with and the one time expense graphics they paid ATI to design for the Xbox in the beginning......and then do an add campaign with some serious bragging about the 3 year warranty and then show off some of the better known games.

PS3 isn't the winner Nintendo's WII is with a solid win on 2 fronts very playable and "fun" games along with being very affordable, if MS is really interested in winning which they certainly can just by soaking up all the Xbox live revenue to offset the hardware problems they are having then they'd best become alot more aggressive and knock that price down much closer if not less than Nintendo's Wii than it is to PS3.

The longer MS delays, the less sense a Blu-ray add-on will make. *Quality* players will hit $300 by the end of this year.
