jajaja way then dont read what people want.
if i have a power eficient pc and put a tv card on it with a 24" monitor it will be (for me) a good choice, better tan a monitor with built in tv that cant be upgraded or change. And if i have a pc i can put a dvd ron and hava a tv+dvd player, add more storage so can save my favarite programs. With a pc i have practicali no limit. much better. |

With the Eee-Monitor and Eee-DT, I really hope they're looking at a real hard drive on that one, not a tiny solid-state drive. SSD's make sense when you're travelling but make nearly no sense for a budget PC in a stationary location.

I imagine people would prefer to pair an E-DT with a TV of their choice, instead of getting the E-TV. Price seems not to be an incentive, and not being to upgrade the PC separately seems like a downside in the long-term.
Is there something specifically attractive about the E-TV that I can't see? |

If the E-TV came preinstalled with something like MythTV, I think it'll be a hit. If they can get CableCard support built in as well, that'd be even better but I don't see that happening.
