Still badly outclassed by the Harpertowns in performance/watt, this low power Phenom is basically like a LV 90nm Xeon. Reasonable power consumption compared to its siblings but still poor when compared to its competition.

I don't think I'd consider a chip with a 65 TDP particularly low power.

Especially when every Core 2 Duo except the extreme line has a TDP around that level.

Well, it's no laptop chip but HP and the other blade vendors should be happy. I wonder if they'll all just wait for the B3 version, however.

(And yeah, I'm sure somebody will stuff it into a DTR luggable anyway).
