well anyone milking a series for over a year deserves the title. At least that explains the poor performance in current games.

Actually, I sent in the tip, but used my wife's e-mail account :-)

It's a good read, and pretty cool that of all the companies reviewed, nVIDIA was chosen as Company of the Year. As a long time nVIDIA user (but started out with an ATi 9800Prp, I agree with Shinare, competition is good, and we as consumers need ATi (AMD) back in the game.

Intel is going to be going up against a very tough competitor in Nvidia. I bet it takes 2 or 3 generations before Intel can really beat them. Ultimately Nvidia's lack of an x86 license may be their downfall.

Kudos Nvidia, that's what you get for getting great products to consumers on time and preemptively beating the crap out of competitors. I wish ATI [AMD] will borrow from this and stop delaying their products.

Nvidia's released some solid GPUs this year. I snagged a 8800 GT card when they dropped at the end of October and have been very pleased with the performance. I just wish my 965-powered motherboard supported SLI so I can drop in another.

I can see why. Even I, an ati fanboi, bought an 8800GTX a whkle back. I've always liked the ATi image quality over nvida, but I just couldn't argue with the 8800GTX.

I just wish ATi would get back in the game. And looking forward to player #3, Intel.

Please forgive me, Nvidia. :-p
I just bought HD2600XT this year after using Nvidia products for so long.

I will be back w/ you again on 8800GT next year.
I promise. LOL
(Seriously, I hope 8800GT price would be better for customers next year)

I wouldn't celebrate Forbes too much, they're also adherents of the "SCO will win over IBM" hypothesis via their resident troll, whatshisname.

They're basically porn for rich people.
