Hehe, first thing I thought of, when I saw "14400," was baud rate. Funny...to me at least.

Is it 14400 or 1440, and 13000 or 1300? (Obviously I know the bandwidth, just wondering if they're dropping a digit for model numbers perhaps.)

Basically what we're looking at is a single type of memory, the 13000 speed, and then some factory-overclocked and restickered 13000. They could have at least announced them separately so it wasn't so obvious. Although I suppose it could be seen as 14400 factory-underclocked but that's not how the market works.

At least 8-8-8-24 is actually better than 4-4-4-12 PC2-6400 (in absolute time).

I can't even believe there is a market at those price points.

Wow, that stuff is about 5x as expensive as DD2 800 memory.
