Hey guys,
I need a recommendation on a calendar/planner app that would sync with my Touch iPod via iTunes. Any suggestions?

You mean, there's not an app for that? But I thought the iPhone not only obviates the need for a calendar, but indeed puts an end to time itself?Flying Fox wrote:iTunes does not do that yet? I thought these Apple things do everything you would ever need to begin with?![]()

So far.... (Yeah, I got the OP's question, I just was going for humor not helpfulness. And is it a "workstation" if it has big freaking flames painted on the side and it's called "Lucky"?)Flying Fox wrote:UberGerbil wrote:You mean, there's not an app for that?
The OP was talking about syncing to a "workstation" (I really hate the term PC because strictly speaking a Mac is a Personal Computer too). Those "app for that" is for running on the iPhone only, right?

Well, your original question said "via iTunes", so Sunbird/Thunderbird/Google Calendar did not come to mind. I would have thought since iTunes is now also a mobile phone management app (you use it to install/remove apps too, right?), it should have those PIM functions too? Partly why I had that initial comment.ssidbroadcast wrote:You guys are hilarious, but I still haven't heard a decent suggestion. After googling around, I decided to try out Sunbird, since I'm already using Thunderbird anyway. Yet to see if it "plays nice" with the Calendar on the Touch iPod.
You never asked for free ones in your OP I'm afraid.ssidbroadcast wrote:I'm under the impression that Outlook is not free.

I was under the impression you're a student. Academic pricing on Office in general is pretty decent.ssidbroadcast wrote:I'm under the impression that Outlook is not free.
