Looking for a BitTorrent client monitor

Postposted on Sat Nov 07, 2009 10:20 pm

Hey all, looking for some software to monitor bittorrent downloads remotely, so when I'm at work I can, without RDPing home, view statistics and progress of downloads and uploads of disc images that I move around for work. I use the official client, and would prefer to keep it, but if theres no way to do what I'd like with the official client, I'm open to new ones as well.

Download uTorrent and use it's WebUI. uTorrent is developed by BitTorrent, Inc. Why they even keep their "official" client around confuses me.

Yes and no. There were once developed separate, BitTorrent, Inc. bought it so now they are developing it. ;) Partly explains why they are still doing 2 clients.

The interface is IDENTICAL. I'm confused as to why you'd keep developing 2 separate clients and not just merge them.

It's probably on the roadmap somewhere.
