2K Games made the PC demo of BioShock available just one day before the full game's release, but Electronic Arts is taking a different approach with Crytek's upcoming first-person shooter Crysis. The publisher has announced that the Crysis demo will come out on September 25, a month and three weeks before the full game rolls out on November 16.
According to EA, the demo will give players a shot at "Contact," the first level from Crysis' full single-player campaign. This demo will reportedly include "a huge surprise from Crytek," as well, although EA is staying tight-lipped on the subject. To make the wait a tad shorter, EA has also released a new trailer, which can be either viewed on the Crysis theater on EA's site or grabbed in HD format over at FileShack.
